The Embarrassing Truth...
Hey it's Clayton, I'll be your instructor for this course.
Before going into this, you need to know something - I possess no natural talent in the slightest. Truth is I sucked at drawing women from the start. I couldn't draw them in proportion, the anatomy was atrocious, and their poses looked bland or broken. All of them were manly, ugly or deformed. "Cringe-worthy" would be the perfect way to put it.
And the worst part was, all I wanted to draw was sexy ladies!
I think that's what pushed me to keep going despite my discouraging results. I simply wanted to get good, so I embraced the challenge. As you can see in the illustrations below, my ability to draw women improved considerably over time. They still weren't perfect by any means, but seeing that progress inspired me to keep going.

What I Can Offer You
So why would you want to take advice from me if I started out as just another amateur?
It's true, I wasn't gifted. All I had on my side was plenty of time and determination. I ran into hundreds of obstacles along the way, doubted myself about a thousand times, and turfed out who knows how many failed drawings into the garbage.
So why didn't I just stop? Because I was rapidly getting better! Every mistake taught me something new, and I made plenty of them. That was my only edge - failing fast.
I analysed everything I did wrong and solved it in one way or another. I posted on forums, asked advice from artists who were better than me and took every online course I could find on drawing beautiful women. I believed I could be better.
Fast forward to now, and I've taught hundreds of students across multiple universities how to avoid many of the pitfalls I fell into, and accelerated their learning as a result.
That's what I'm offering you in this course. A definitive volume of knowledge on the art of creating stunning, comic book women, so you don't have to figure it out on your own. I'm offering you a shortcut.

So Let's Unpack It...
Chapter 1 - Preliminary Concepts
The course starts out by taking you through the preliminary design phase of character concepting, where we’ll brainstorm ideas for 5 different Superheroines that we could potentially develop into finished designs. This initial stage is all about kick-starting your imagination so that you’re able to get something down onto the page right away.

Chapter 2 - Foundations
Then we’ll pick 3 Superheroine designs to develop into finished characters - as we draft up a series of striking poses that exude confidence, power and maximum sexiness! We’ll map out the anatomy and the key muscle groups throughout their body to make sure they’re all structured correctly. Our primary goal in this chapter is to establish a solid foundation for each character that we can build our ultimate design around.

Chapter 3 - Design Draft
Next we’ll begin developing a more definitive concept for our characters right over the top of their pose! This stage is all about experimentation, exploration and nailing down final the look of our Superheroines. It’s the fun part - where we get to build upon the preliminary idea we came up with earlier and take it to a more refined level.

Chapter 4-6 - Inking
Now we’re ready to ink! In this lesson you’ll learn how to define your pencils with sharp, slick and energetic line art. I’ll show you how to implement Weight Variation to ramp-up the appeal of your contours, how to render tone, materials, value and texture details, and how to accurately place shadows according to your light source. On top of that you’ll learn how to accurately ink hair, clothing, armor, leather and robotic-tech.

Chapter 7-10 - Coloring
The last four chapters of the course are dedicated to coloring - How to pick complementary color schemes that are pleasing to the eye and contrast well with the design; and how to light, shade and render the individual aspects of each character’s anatomy, costuming and hairstyle. I’ll explain in comprehensive detail why and how I approach the coloring process in the way I do, to ensure predictable and consistent results in the finished presentation of my character designs.

Q&A
Will the construction of the characters be in real-time?
The lessons are all time-lapsed. Here's why that's a good thing for you!
In the full course, I cover how to pencil, ink and color three full characters, and most of the lessons go for 40-50 mins. Inking and coloring are quite simple and repetitive tasks once you understand the basics, but they're also very time consuming. So in putting this course together I realised the most important things you would need to know is the process, and how to execute that process. So I trimmed the lessons down to just those elements, so that you could get the most important information you needed, in the shortest amount of time possible, without having to sit through 30-50+ hours of footage to find what you're looking for.
I find courses that long are just too overwhelming for students to get into, and are usually never completed by the student just because it goes on for so long. I myself have many courses I haven't completed just because I don't have the time to.
Because the Superheroine lessons are time-lapsed, you're able to get a more wholesome overview of the entire process, rather than getting lost, or bored in the many hours it would take you to get through the real-time demonstration. You still get all the information you need, with a full understanding of how everything works, but it's delivered to you in the most optimized way possible.
Combined with the carefully scripted dialogue, assignments, and the Virtual Comic Art Classroom, I believe this course will truly help you to upgrade your skills in a reasonable amount of time- but most importantly there will be a greater chance of you completing it in it's entirety without getting bored or overwhelmed by the amount of content.
If you're worried or concerned about missing out on any aspect of my process due to the time-lapse - don't be. I can assure you, everything you need to know is covered in detail. Remember, you'll see the drawing, inking and coloring process demonstrated 3 times over on three separate characters. So the content is quite thorough. But if you still feel you didn't get what you were looking for out of the course, I'm more than happy to refund your copy of the course within 30 days of purchase. So you really have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.
