It’s been ages since the last “How To Draw Women: Female Heads” update. In fact it’s taken so long to get this course out there that you might have wondered whether or not you’re ever going to get to see it!
Well yes, it’s still coming. And to thank you for your patience, I wanted to share with you another special preview from the course. This chart basically covers everything there is to know about drawing the side view of the female head.
Each view of the female head (including the dynamic ones) are taught real-time so that you can follow along and apply what you’re learning. After you’ve gone through each set of lessons you’ll have drawn up your diagram, not unlike this one. The cool thing is that these studies don’t just focus on the overall structure of the head but they also cover the structure of the individual facial features and neck muscles.
As you can see it’s very in depth, and I think this really gives you a wholesome view of the kind of quality you can expect to see from the rest of the course once it’s out. The level of comprehensiveness these lessons offer is one of the reasons it’s taken as long as it has to put together.
This reference sheet alone offers so much value. Download it, save it, and absorb all the knowledge you can from it.
Last year was a big learning curve for me in the structure and delivery of this course. It’s been challenging, but I’ve come such a long way as a teacher and an artist because of it. I feel now, after all this time that I’m ready to take that experience and use it to turn the vision I have for HTDC into a reality.
My goal this year is to bring you 4 new courses from HTDC – with “How To Draw Women: Female Heads” coming out end of March. If you’d like to stay up to date on what’s happening with the course, just visit www.howtodrawcomics.net and subscribe. It’s the best way for me to keep in touch with you (and totally free of course).
Enjoy, and keep on creating!
