Comic Book Character Creator Course - E | Preview 1

You might have noticed I’ve been a bit AWOL lately. But never without good reason, I can assure you! Usually, when I drop off the face of the Earth for a while it’s because I’ve been hard at work…

And here’s what I’ve got to show for it…

‘E’ – she’s got attitude, she’s got sass and a nasty right-hook. She is also the ass-kicking vixen starring in my next Course - Comic Book Character Creator - coming soon from HTDC.

Now if you were to dye E’s hair teal… you might notice an uncanny likeness to the ever mesmerizing Miss E

What can I say? The lady I love is also my muse. In fact, E is a tribute to her – Throughout these last two years Miss E has been a pillar of support and a well of encouragement in helping me to make How to Draw Comics .NET all that it can be.

Gushy romance aside – 'E' is the first of 3 Comic Book Character Designs you’ll get to see me create throughout this series, as you learn my step by step methods for designing, penciling, inking and coloring your Comic Book Characters from start to finish.

Each of these training packages holds 5-6 hours of fully narrated content where you’ll see the entire creation process unfold before your eyes, as I explain every facet of my Comic Art Workflow.

What I haven’t mentioned yet, is that the Comic Book Character Creation series is actually part of a much larger Comic Creator Course coming out much later in the year – Where I’ll be taking E here and placing her into a sequential Comic Book spanning 6 full color pages.

But – I don’t want to get into too much detail on that just yet.

For now, I wanted to share E with you here because I’d really love your feedback! I want to include as much valuable content into this volume of Comic Art training as possible. And the best way to ensure that is to ask you…

“What would you like to see covered in the first part of the Comic Book Character Creator Course?”

Pose your questions and suggestions in the comments below and I’ll add them to the list of topics we’ll be getting into throughout this in-depth training.

I hope you like her! She was an absolute gem to work on and I can’t wait to jump onto the colors. I’ll have more updates coming your way soon.

Enjoy,

-Clayton
