Welcome to the 4th and final installed of the ‘How To Draw Demons’ Comic Art Series.
In this Comic Art Tutorial, I’ll show you how to draw up a long shot scene consisting of multiple elements – where I’ll show you the process for a comic book illustration depicting an angered soul on the cusp of darkness – lured into temptation by two, seductive Demon Temptresses.
This comic book illustration gives you an inside look into my process for not only drawing up a single character within a scene, but instead multiple characters within a single shot. You’ll watch how I take a roughly drawn sketch and flesh out the details, articulating the anatomy and design of each character.
As you watch the illustration begin to take a more refined form throughout the comic art tutorial, I’ll explain how shading, rendering and details must be balanced in order to achieve a finished visual representation of the art work which easily is readable by the audience.
I’ll also discuss the key differences between male and female anatomy and how when it comes to drawing women – less is often more!
Finally you’ll learn how to draw, render and detail clothing in a way that describes the specific materials that the fabric of your character’s costuming is made of.
I hope you enjoy this Comic Art Tutorial and that you get a ton of value out of the comic art tips, tricks and techniques you’re going to see me demonstrate. Not will you discover how the finished illustration is built up from the bare-bones foundation of the drawing, but you’ll have me there to explain each one of the key concepts I’m considering throughout its production.
Thanks for watching!
