I'm 17 years old and it's that time in high school where students are pushed to figure out what they are going to do in the future. I chose to go into architecture as a major, but I always wanted to work in the comic book industry.
In this piece, it is a page of where the Flash sacrifices himself to protect Wonder Woman from Starro. I purposely chose the first and last panels to be shots that I suck at drawing, overhead and below. It is also my first digital finished page. I'm still getting used to drawing on a tablet. I feel that my style isn't there yet, nor are my skills. The rare use of blacks is a characteristic of mine because nowadays many books use a more painterly feel and less the solid blacks and I appeal to those, but I don't know how to balance between the two in my pencils. What I saw in my head is not what came up, but that's always the case.
I just want to know what I can improve on. I want to give this career my best shot, even though I know it is super competitive and I'm not sure if it will work out.
