How To Draw: Beards and Facial Hair

In this Comic Art Tutorial you’ll learn how to draw Comic style Facial Hair and Beards for your Male Comic Book characters. 
 

We’ll take a step by step approach as I show you how to construct the basic shape and style of three different beards - that each assumes various personality traits within the characters. 
 

After we’ve got the foundations of the drawing down, we’ll then move onto defining the beard, rendering each clump of facial hair to achieve a layered effect that describes it with mass and volume. 
 

You’ll also discover how the rendering used to shade and detail beards can be used at different densities to affect the color and tone of your Comic Book Character’s facial hair.
